Templates

Templates provide guidelines to show the exact size of a document and where it will be cut or folded. We have templates available for you to use with many of the most common software applications.

File Requirements

We are able to accept many different file types. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Bleeds - Files need to be built to the final size plus at least 1/8" bleed on all sides. This means that for an 8.5" x 11" document, the graphic size would actually be 8.75" x 11.25". If you are unsure how to to build your files, just download one of our easy-to-use templates and follow the guides. For more details, download a free digital copy of our "What Is a Bleed?" tutorial, or check out our "What Is a Bleed?" blog post.
  • Image Resolution - For best printing results, we recommend that your files have a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Files with a resolution lower than 300 dpi may appear blurry or pixelated.
  • Safety - Important images or text should be kept at least 1/8" from the edge of your document. This means that for an 8.5" x 11" document, the safety zone would be 8.25" x 10.75". If you are unsure how to build your files, just download one of our easy-to-use templates and follow the guides.
  • Fonts - Fonts should either be included or converted to outlines.
