Job Details Level : Entry Job Location : Vancouver, WA Position Type : Part Time Salary Range : $19.45 - $22.45 Hourly Job Category : Admin - Clerical General Description and Qualifications: King’s Way Christian Schools is a private, Christian school dedicated to serving students from 12 months through 12th grade in beautiful Vancouver, Washington. King’s Way partners with families to provide a Christ-centered education for the whole child, leading to life change in each student. We are currently seeking an Alumni Coordinator to join our Advancement Department and provide essential support for engaging King’s Way alumni, including high school graduates and former students, in small and large alumni events, digital and print communications and opportunities to engage directly with King’s Way schools, including volunteering, presentations to students and community members, attending community events, mentoring students, and giving. The ideal candidate is highly organized, highly relational, motivated to develop the alumni relations program, and passionate about the mission of King’s Way. Job Duties: Plan and oversee alumni events and activities, including reunions, meet-ups, Alumni Knight Basketball Game, speaking events, etc. Manage alumni digital connection platforms, including the King’s Way Alumni web pages, LinkedIn, etc. Support the Advancement Department in developing alumni-related content for The King’s Way Magazine. Manage and update alumni database systems using tools such as Google Suite applications and Bloomerang CRM. Develop and oversee King’s Way Alumni Relations Council, responsible for brainstorming and strategic planning for King’s Way Alumni Relations Program. Create alumni engagement bridge program for communicating alumni opportunities to graduates and graduate families. Develop relationships with alumni through one-on-one and small group meetings, which encourage further engagement with King’s Way. Partner with campus leaders and other stakeholders to establish connections between alumni, programs, students, and the broader community (e.g. College & Career, Athletics, Arts, Missions and Community Service) Support the Community Engagement team in preparing a plan for alumni giving Prepare reports representing alumni engagement in key areas, such as event attendance, volunteering, and giving Support the Advancement team in developing lines of alumni merchandise Position Details: $19.45 - $22.45 based on experience. Part-time, 20 hours per week year-round in-person. Some attendance at after hours events required. A mix of remote and on-site work available depending upon initiatives and seasonal demands. This position is one of three part-time opportunities currently available within the Advancement Department. Candidates with the requisite skills and experience may be considered for a combination of two positions, which together would qualify for full-time employment and benefits eligibility. The other available positions are Advancement Assistant and Community Engagement Campaign Assistant . Applicants interested in multiple roles should indicate their preferences in their application. Required Qualifications: Demonstrated commitment to King’s Way Statement of Faith, in word and practice. Strong customer service skills. Ability to build relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds. Proficiency with digital media (social media, email marketing, web content, video/photo) Ability to understand and communicate King’s Way’s mission and goals, and champion both Christian education and the school’s vision. Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Drive, Docs, Slides, Forms, Sheets, Meet) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong decision-making skills to manage multiple projects, meet varied deadlines, and handle shifting priorities. The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment background check. Preferred Qualifications: King’s Way alum or former student Event planning experience Project or program management experience Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Graduate from accredited college or university, with major or coursework in business, hospitality, communications, or related field Benefits: The following benefits described are for typical full-time employees.
