We are looking for a compassionate and patient caregiver to work with a friendly male client who has Down Syndrome, intellectual disabilities, hypothyroidism, and anxiety. This is a companion position focused on helping the client become more social, active, and independent in the community.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the client in engaging with others and building friendships
• Assisting with community outings and social activities
• Helping improve money management skills
• Encouraging participation in hobbies like bowling, basketball, and golf
• Promoting confidence and independence in daily interactions

Qualifications:

• Must pass a Level 2 background check
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR certification
• Previous experience with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is preferred but not required

Schedule:

• Part-time, 10 hours per week
• Days and times are flexible and will be determined based on availability
