Your Role As a Director Of Corporate Finance

As the Director of Corporate Finance, you will act as the primary support and strategic advisor to the VP of Finance, steering the company through long-term planning initiatives that will determine our financial trajectory. This role is pivotal in analyzing financial performance, identifying investment opportunities, and managing risks. Your expertise will be crucial in influencing key decisions that will shape the financial future of our company, from spearheading new acquisitions to optimizing our portfolio management strategy.

Key Responsibilities Of Director Of Corporate Finance

• Lead the financial planning processes, setting quarterly, annual, and multi-year targets.
• Manage cash flow forecasting with a keen eye on both short-term and long-term financial health.
• Serve as the direct finance partner to the CEO and CFO, leveraging KPIs to unearth potential risks and opportunities that will drive financial growth.
• Oversee financial and business reporting, liaising with institutional investors, the Board of Directors, and banking institutions as necessary.
• Take charge of the selection and implementation of software tools to boost financial performance communication with key stakeholders.

What We are seeking in a Director of Corporate Finance:

• A BSc/BA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA, CFA, or similar advanced qualification is highly regarded.
• A proven track record in a finance directorship or equivalent role, ideally within fast-paced or startup environments.
• Expertise in developing complex financial models in Excel and utilizing other BI tools.
• Experience in building from scratch and managing detailed planning processes, incorporating KPIs and comprehensive financial metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and lead cross-functional projects with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial strategies into actionable plans for business leaders.
