About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Director / Executive Director for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to take on a pivotal leadership role within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the FP&A team, providing strategic financial insight, and driving the financial decision-making process. This includes overseeing the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans, as well as ensuring that financial models and analysis are in line with business strategy. The role also involves serving as a key business partner to senior leaders, particularly in the context of commercial product launches, and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a proven track record in commercial launch experience and the ability to manage complex budgets in support of the business's strategic objectives. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced financial qualification preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in FP&A, including at least 5 years in a leadership position, is required. The role demands a professional with strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills, as well as excellent financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting abilities. The candidate must be adept at communicating complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, have a high level of integrity, and be results-driven. A strategic mindset, the ability to think both tactically and long-term, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. The position also requires a high level of proficiency in financial software and tools, and a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis processes.
