We are seeking an experienced Marine Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Savannah, GA. The Marine Diesel Mechanic performs complex mechanical repairs, and installs. S/He must be comfortable working on all boat systems; Hamilton water jets, engines by Yanmar, CAT, VolvoPenta, Cummins or FPT and familiar with working on onboard plumbing systems, hydraulics system installations, troubleshooting and repairs. Some knowledge of HVAC is preferred.

Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience and the ability to install complete mechanical systems, have a drive and desire to meet or beat schedule and budget for project with no rework.
  • The ability to write condition reports on boats, prepare actual estimates and plan projects through to completion is vital.
  • This mechanic will work independently to complete projects and may lead a small work team to complete projects
  • 5 years Marine Experience Required
