Agronomy Department Team Member Opportunity

The Country Club is seeking team members to join the Agronomy Department to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our classic William Flynn design that boasts two of the Top 100 holes in the country. Part-time or seasonal opportunities available for the 2025 season. If you enjoy the outdoors, the game of golf, and a professional team environment, then this is a great place for you. We also offer daily meals and flexible hours to accommodate any desired schedule.

Job Overview:

• Participate in all daily golf course maintenance tasks designed to create championship playing conditions for our members and guests.
• Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment.
• Workers typically perform a variety of tasks with more responsibility gained with training.
• Tasks include any combination but are not limited to any of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, irrigation installation/repair, landscape beautification, skeet preparation, golf course construction.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $14-$17 per hour dependent on experience.

About Us:

The Country Club is a private 18-hole facility located on 250 acres in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Known for being a family-oriented club, it provides numerous amenities to its members with the golf course being the focal point. Famed golf course architect William Flynn masterfully blended the routing of each golf hole with the natural topography to create a gem that is regarded as one of Flynn's greatest designs, and consistently ranks as one of the top courses in Ohio. The rich-history of the club also includes hosting national events with the 1935 U.S. Amateur and the 2012 U.S. Women's Amateur. The course underwent a major restoration in 2022 with the guidance of Gil Hanse to recreate its original design. Following the restoration, the club was included in the group of "Restoration of the year" according to Golf Digest. It now boasts two of the Top 100 holes in the country, which are holes #15 and #17.
