Join Our Team as a Home Health Aide Intern!

This role is perfect for those eager to learn and grow, with the potential to transition into a certified Home Health Aide through our structured Care Academy training program.

Your Responsibilities

As a Home Health Aide Intern, you will:

• Engage fully in the Care Academy Training Program , attending all in-person sessions and completing assignments.
• Communicate effectively with branch leaders, staff, and Care Academy trainers.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and family matters throughout and after the training.
• Exhibit a high standard of customer service and a willingness to learn.
• Understand that compliance with program requirements is essential for continued participation.

After Certification

Upon successfully completing the Care Academy program, you will:

• Transition to a Home Health Aide role with a competitive pay rate.
• Be assigned to appropriate patient cases.
• Participate in ongoing education, including at least 12 hours of in-service training annually.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical assessments and compliance with care policies.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid Driver’s License and acceptable MVR (as needed for approved patient transport).

Physical Requirements

As a Home Health Aide, you will need to:

• Speak, write, read, and understand English.

• Engage in prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting.
• Respond physically and mentally to emergency situations.

Work Environment
