Job Title – HR Assistant

Location – Stow, MA 01775

Duration – 3+ months contract position

Shift Time – Monday - Friday 9 am - 3 pm- DFS is flexible with time requested.

***6 hrs/day – 30 hrs/week***

Job Summary:

• Perform personnel functions such as payroll transactions & screening employment applications and resumes.

Essential Functions:

• Perform personnel functions such as screen employment applications & resumes to determine if a candidate meets position requirements; match applicants to job postings and develop, send and track correspondence to non-selected job applicants
• Screen the contents of hiring packets prior to development of employment offers to validate content is complete and accurate.
• Move hiring packets through the offer process in Mass Careers and the hiring process in HR/CMS. Respond to finalist inquiries. Establish personnel files for new employees; process enrollment forms such as GIC, Retirement, and Union.
• Track or process various HR items as assigned such as training status reports, performance review completion reports, correspondence, pay increases, promotions, and various quality control reports.
• Process HR and payroll transactions in HR/CMS, a PeopleSoft human resources application.
