Performs electrical, mechanical and pneumatic maintenance and repairs. Coordinates with and directs contractors and vendors performing facility and equipment maintenance. Implements preventive maintenance program.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnosis electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics. Maintain all equipment maintenance and repair records utilizing a CMMS Following a prepared schedule, lubricate machines and equipment using specified lubricants.
Operate common hand and power tools, such as hand drill, saws, hammer, pliers, wire cutters, and wrenches. Comply with all safety regulations/procedures and maintains a clean and orderly work area. Work from ladders and scissor lifts, as required.
Lead in installation of testing and machine equipment. Change coolants, soluble oils, filters and cleaning components of machines as called for by schedule or as required by supervisors. Maintain and repair of high-pressure pumps, valves and gauges.
Assist other maintenance personnel tasks such as cleaning components of machines as called for by schedule or as required by supervisors. Maintain the main and satellite hazardous waste collection areas. Support safety team, Confined Space, Hazmat, Crane/Hoist, and High-Pressure Testing, Hot work permitting, forklift and lock-out-tag-out processes.
Ability to utilize basic hand tools and electrical testing equipment. Required: High school diploma or GED Read and interpret blueprints and tape measure. Vocational degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
