???? Operator Training Instructor – Northern Illinois (Work From Home)

Wolter Inc. is looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Operator Training Instructor to join our growing team. This role is based out of your home in Northern Illinois , with travel to customer sites and Wolter training centers in Rockford, Sugar Grove, Bolingbrook, Chicagoland, and Janesville.

You’ll lead engaging operator training sessions, help companies build safer work environments, and be part of a team that truly cares about doing things the right way.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver hands-on operator training for forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts, construction equipment, and more
• Facilitate “Train the Trainer” classes for customers and internal teams
• Serve as a safety resource for our customers and employees
• Stay up to date on OSHA regulations and new equipment releases
• Promote training through phone calls, email, and social media
• Evaluate student performance and issue certifications
• Attend trade shows and represent Wolter at events
• Maintain accurate documentation of classes, leads, and follow-up activities

What You Bring:

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of industrial or construction equipment operation
• Understanding of OSHA standards and safety practices
• Tech savvy with the ability to manage email, documentation, and basic promotion
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation , and proof of insurance
• A current certification for driving powered industrial equipment is a plus
• Safety certifications (NASP, WSO) are a bonus but not required
