Raritan Landing Golf Course, in Piscataway, NJ is owned by the Middlesex County Parks Department and managed by Indigo Sports, a subsidiary of Troon Golf. This 3,300-yard, par-58, 18-hole golf course, designed by Stephen Kay, opened on October 1, 1999, and offers players a premium on shot making and accuracy. With small greens and narrow fairways, Raritan Landing can provide a true test for all golfers despite its short length.
We are currently looking for a part-time mechanic to round out the team at Raritan Landing. This position will range between 10-20 hrs./week depending on workload with equipment repairs and maintenance. Scheduling can be flexible between the hours of 5:30 am and 4 pm Monday-Friday.
Five years of progressing mechanics experience preferably some golf course specific experience
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be organized, motivated and efficient with a high attention to detail
Knowledge of gasoline, diesel and 2 cycle motors
Knowledge of hydraulic systems
Knowledge of grinding equipment and proper reel and bed knife grinding techniques.
Must keep thorough records of preventative maintenance and inventories
Equipment lift
Newer equipment fleet (Primarily Toro), majority of equipment is 5 years old or newer
Many "shop" tools available but a qualified candidate will supply their own mechanics tool set.
$28-33/hr.

No Weekends
