Job Description

Overview

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's Department of Rehab Medicine is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on providing exceptional care to patients in need of orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation in a vibrant outpatient clinic.

You will work alongside a team of dynamic and talented therapists, utilizing your skills to help patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and sports-related conditions. Whether guiding individuals towards regaining their functional independence or assisting athletes in returning to peak performance, you will play a vital role in their rehabilitation journey.

As part of a large academic medical center, you will collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized care for each patient. Additionally, our clinicians have the unique opportunity to participate in team-based integrative care in a variety of multidisciplinary settings, including Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinics, and as part of the Dartmouth College Sports Medicine Team, providing care to their Varsity Athletes.

Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our practice, where evidence-based interventions and the latest rehabilitation techniques are utilized to optimize patient outcomes. In addition, we foster a culture of clinical development and professional growth-our department routinely hosts in-service presentations and workshops led by both internal and external experts. Team members benefit from generous continuing education funding, tuition reimbursement, and strong support for the pursuit of advanced certifications.

Our structured, department-supported mentorship program ensures every new clinician receives dedicated guidance, personalized onboarding, and ongoing feedback from day one-making Dartmouth-Hitchcock an ideal environment to grow your career and achieve your long-term professional goals.

Lebanon and the neighboring town of Hanover, home to Dartmouth College, are located in the "Upper Valley" which straddles the Connecticut River, dividing western New Hampshire and eastern Vermont.
