Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications related to biotech, pharma, and medical devices
- Coordinate with foreign counsel on global IP filings and portfolio strategy
- Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and due diligence analyses
- Advise on IP asset development, protection, and enforcement strategy
- Liaise with clients, technical experts, and stakeholders to align legal and scientific objectives
- Support transactional IP work and collaborative R&D agreements

Qualifications:
- 4+ years of patent prosecution experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house setting
- Ph.D. in a life sciences field (e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences)
- Admission to the USPTO (or eligibility to sit for the Patent Bar)
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Understanding of both U.S. and international IP systems
- Background in mechanical or electrical technologies is a plus
