Busy, state of the art Steel Fabrication Shop, conveniently located, right off the freeway in Ridgefield, looking for a “Shop Helper” to assist our shop workforce of Welders, Fitters, Painters, and Managers with daily shop duties:

Basic Job Description:

• Picking up and dropping off parts.
• Cleaning Around Shop Work Areas:
• Sweeping Shop Floors
• Cleaning Around Shop Work Areas
• Forklift Operation - Certified by Training or Experience
• Loading/Unloading
• Grounds Maintenance
• Working with Small Hand Tools
• Grounds Maintenance
• Assisting on Shop Floor with Various Tasks as Needed.

Applicants Must:

• Be at Least 18 Years of Age
• Be Able to Stand for 8+ Hours a Day
• Be Able to Lift 65 lbs.
• Have Reliable Transportation
• Have a Valid Washington State Driver’s License
• Have a Good Driving Record
• Be Able to Work on Teams
• Be Interested in Stable Environment with Long-Term Opportunities.
• Be Willing To be A Positive Contributor
• Have Consistent, On Time, Attendance History
• Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen: On All Safety Sensitive Positions for which impairment while working causes a substantial risk of death. Red Dog Fabrication maintains a drug and alcohol-free workplace policies and obligations required under federal law.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday

• 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8 -10 Hour Shifts, adjusted to needs of business
• Required Overtime as Needed
• Occasional Saturdays
