Job Description

This position is for a Software DevSecOps skilled engineer in the Avionics Advanced Technology Sandbox Organization. The Sandbox is chartered with defining new disruptive developmental process improvements for the Avionics business unit. The initial focus for the Sandbox will be to improve software development by conceptualizing and proving a new ecosystem, tool set, and process to generate a step function in time to test, develop, and certify.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Engage as a technologist and technical contributor with the engineering team and as a technical representative and advocate to the broader Avionics organization.
- Contribute to the research focused strategic roadmap for the organization.
- Lead and own subsets of the research focused strategic roadmap for the organization.
- Contribute to technical and investment plan to attack biggest impact challenge problems.
- Work with teams across Avionics to explore a broad disruptive trade space
- Collaborate with product design teams, Digital Technology, Enterprise DPLC organizations, and the Engineering tools organizations to enable transition of developed techniques.
- Drive teams with focus ranging from early minimum viable prototypes to scalable high-fidelity evaluations as concepts mature towards transition.
- Work hand-in-hand with teams across Avionics to influence and adopt Sandbox technology



Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
- Proven experience with Dev*Ops pipeline architecture, deployment, and tools
- Experience with tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Grafana, InfluxDB, SonarQube, Jupyter Notebook, OpenCV, Bamboo, PostgreSQL, BitBucket, Robot Framework, Conan
- Demonstrated positive engineering technical results on complex programs
- Experience in Git
- Experience with containers & orchestration



Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in DO178 DAL-A software product development
