You’ll assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, serve as a resource for your peers, and help train the next generation of surgical technologists. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with precision and efficiency.
• Ensure instruments, equipment, and sutures are complete and functional.
• Set up a sterile field and maintain organization throughout the procedure.
• Scrub in for a variety of cases, adapting to the surgeon's techniques and preferences.
• Mentor and precept new surgical techs and RNs.
• Anticipate needs during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Participate in case closing activities and assist with unexpected intra-op events.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and participate in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Education: Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology or a Certificate of Completion in Surgical Technology.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking abilities and a commitment to continuous learning.

Working Conditions

• Be available for on-call hours, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility in assigned areas and willingness to assist others as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $21.49 - $35.89 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and shifts worked.
