Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina.

Position / Specialty: MedSurg Registered Nurse
Shift: 4x12s, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Patient Ratios:

• Standard ratio 1:6
• May flex to 1:7 in the event of unplanned staffing shortages

Weekend Requirement:

• Every other weekend

On-Call Requirement:

• Yes, PRN for low census

Floating Requirement:

• Yes, traveler must float within scope to meet facility needs
• May float between like units or sister facilities

Experience:

• Preferred: 2 years of MedSurg experience
• First-time travelers accepted

Licensure:

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license
• License must be in hand prior to start

Certifications:

• Required: BLS
• Preferred: ACLS, NIHSS

EMR:

• Epic experience required

Required Skills:

• Med/Surg nursing
• MS/Telemetry
• Telemetry monitoring
• Insulin administration
• Rapid Response participation

Preferred Experience:

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Comfortable managing patient ratios of 1:6–7
