Responsibilities: Partner with engineering and web teams to strategize, design and develop infrastructure in the current environment; Plan for the long-term evolution of the next generation micro service platform supports zoom.us growing; Partner with the central Infrastructure Engineering team to maintain and adjust to company-wide standards; Work with software engineers to ensure that development and operation follows established processes and works as intended; Participate in project planning so that development timelines and dependencies are represented; Focus on security, automation, scalability, and high availability. What we're looking for: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent; Must have 4 years of experience in job offered or related occupation; Must have 4 years of experience in working as a web engineer supporting enterprise-grade SaaS solutions; Must have 4 years of experience in at least one modern programming language (Java, Golang, etc); Must have 4 years of experience in supporting enterprise-grade applications throughout their lifecycle (requirements through monitoring and improvements); Must have 4 years of experience in DevOps philosophy and practices, particularly continuous development, observability, security, and performance, proficiency with Kubernetes, and cloud-native ecosystem; Must have 4 years of experience in web application security principles and best practices; Must have 4 years of experience in assessing tradeoffs and make decisions collaboratively in a cross-functional team; Must have 4 years of experience in working with geographically diverse teams. Salary Range or On Target Earnings: Minimum: $124,000.00 Maximum: $271,200.00 In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
